Multiple Teams · 2 Soccer Warriors attend Senior Showcase


Carlos Hernandez and Adrian Santiago, two senior soccer players on the Boys Soccer team, attended the 2nd Annual Lloyd’s Soccer High School Senior Showcase held at Brookland-Cayce High School in Cayce, SC.  The primary purpose of the showcase is “to identify a pool of potential players for the Clash of the Carolinas and the North-South Soccer Classic senior summer all-star games.”

In addition to playing in front of the coaching staffs of the all-star games, the 35 select players auditioned for 7 college soccer coaches that were in attendance at the event.

The showcase consisted of warmups, agility drills, possession drills, and 3 30 minute 11v11 games.  Carlos and Adrian both showed well, logging complete games in the first and third game.  Carlos finished with an assist on the winning goal in the third game.

Other area schools represented were: Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, Brookland-Cayce, Georgetown, James Island, Manning and Wade Hampton.
